Coolant Expansion tanks

What is the consensus on coolant tanks? There seems to be a wide price range from about 70-450. Are the OEM/Genuine really worth 6 times the price? Is there any one particular aftermarket one to specifically avoid? I tend to use genuine most of the time, but curious...

Car is a 99 track only so lots of maintenance in between weekends and no road miles.

We only use OEM tanks as the result of extremely poor performance of the aftermarket units. We have actually seen aftermarket units fail in a couple of days; considering the installation time, simply is not worth it.

I am sure Woody ( forum name itsnotanova ) can help you out with a clean used OEM tank and save you money . He's in Texas also .

Just at Woody's Boxster Mecca last week. For coolant tank, considering pain of install, would only do new and then prefer not to think about it. Looks like OEM is the way to go.
