Of course these assumptions have to be verified with flow testing. Torque power and throttle response being the goals.
When I installed the 997 Distribution T, it was fitting right against the Plenum opening. I don't think there is a gap there to create a V and disrupt the air flow. Also going from the larger to smaller opening could increase the air velocity. Maybe The Radium King could give some better insight on this.
