Throttle Body Cleaning, wow!

It was really dirty, I didn't realize it would make such a difference.

Throttle is so much more responsive, and I normally blip to get the rpms up, not anymore.

If you're thinking of doing it, do it!

Did you have to remove whole TB from car?

How long did it tak you to remove it and then put it back?

I did remove it entirely from the car, I wanted to be thorough in its cleaning.
I removed the nut at the bottom, loosed the clamps up top, took the front air intake off the throttle body, then rotated it up to loosen the 4 allen bolts. if that helps...

About 1.5 hours? I took off the T connector from the throttle body, but I found that not to be necessary, I should have just taken off the throttle body only. The insides of the "T" inlet wasn't as dirty as I thought it was, and I did the best I could, sticking my hand inside the air intakes, but it wasn't dirty, not that bad, enough to warrant the removal the the "T" section.

So if you just take off the throttle body, maybe an hour or less. It was tough getting the T back in!
