I seem to remember the 914 had an optional gauge pack and got the idea from that. Be truthful because i'm going to be at Porsche Escape this weekend and want the Beast to look cool. Nothing is hooked up yet but that is no big deal other than oil pressure.
I tried every location on my car and finally decided that the top DIN was the best for the set of gauges so I relocated the A/C module.
What I think finishes the look is having the mounting plate completely contained in the space and framed by the trim piece.
This is what I mean:

Hmmmmm, you have 2 oil PSI guages.

Why 2? Where are you measuring the OIL PSI with the 2 guages?

The one on the left is the engine's oil pressure
The one on the right is the Accussump's oil pressure.
Somewhat redundant, but with this setup I can visualize if the Accussump has an issue while I'm at the track.
