Steering Wheel upgrade to a 987

Hi Guys - im new to the world of Porsche and have just landed myself a 02 S - Which only after 1 month has cost ne a new water pump which left me stranded on the motorway.

I have some nice subtle upgrades which came with the car - 987 alloys and lights, but id like to know if i can fit a 987 steering wheel to my 986? does the 986 airbag fi directly in its place if i get a wheel with no air bag?????

thanks in advance and any other suggested tweeks / checks i need to do are very much appreciated................Scotty
