Drivers door regulator

Will I am living proof that it can be done. I attempted to change a regulator on a 2001 Ford Focus- no way.. I gave up and put a screw in it then sold the car that way.

Today, armed with this forum and the pelican bulletin, I changed my 2000 drivers door regulator. It took me about an hour from starting door panel removal to locking car and putting tools back. Only trouble area and cost me about 20 minutes was the cheap knockoff regulator had a slightly different bolt pattern for motor studs. I had to drill out the hole and find a nut to add.

I have been reading about how simple the Boxster is to work on, well now I believe. This makes the second DIY project on car and neither has been done before on any other cars I have owned. This is fun and makes the car that much more my car.
