adding remote control open/close to 98 Boxster

HI,

I have a 98 Boxster with central lock system, but my key doesn't have the remote opening/closing function.
Can I add this functionality with new key fob with the remote locking/unlocking (assuming that I would program it properly at Porsche service)?
