New AOS
I installed the Motorsport AOS this evening Not terribly hard or time consuming I was completed in 2 hours including, R&R motor cover, R&R belt cover, and replace unit. It is much bigger and I hope it work as well as people have said.

The parts were purchased through My local Porsche dealership. They have been giving me a discount so the tube from 4-6, 2 longer Socket HD Screws and the new AOS cost me $665 and change. If can figure out how to post pictures I have them. The sump extension from LN is on my tool Box. If time permits, this will be Sundays Project.

Thank you for the detailed parts list, item numbers.
My question is: I have a '05 996 3.6L in my Boxster, will these parts be the same for that motor as well as your 2.7L?
Any insight would be great as I'd like to do this over the Christmas Holiday.

brink - since yours is a race car, why not go with a catch can setup? plug off the throttle body & route the AOS outlet to a catch can instead.

Just replaced the AOS several weeks ago on a 2002 S. Clamp removal tool also available at Sears. Not very expensive and well worth it in time savings and skinned knuckles (large hands). I did however replace the clamp with the worm gear type.

After uncliping the 2 breather hoses and unbolting the AOS I just pulled up on the OLD AOS it did not take a tool. I replaced it with a worm clamp and a 5/16" nut driver. from the right wheel well.

Cable Operated Hose Clamp Pliers- Craftsman-Tools-Auto & Mechanics Tools-Auto Specialty Tools
Very nice tool. I've used it several times, on the AOS, oil filler tubes, SAI hose, etc...
And since I now have this tool, I just replaced the OEM clamps with OEM clamps. I find it easier to remove/install the OEM clamps with this tool, vs. a a worm gear one with a socket/ratchet. Just personal preference.
