OBX Exhaust system

Hi everyone,

Has anyone heard or tried the exhaust system from OBX? I've heard of this brand many times before, but don't know how it would sound on a Boxster. Its cheap for a muffler setup, and looks like good build quality too.

If anyone knows if they sound good, i might have to pick up a set.

I'd be interested too

Seen it on ebay... looks different than all others. I wonder how it sounds. Anyone?

Stay Away!!!!!

I purchased a 914 header from them a year and half ago. Total nightmare. Long long story short... Geometry way off on header visibly would not line up even before trying to fit it. Seller refused to honor warranty, refused to refund or make right after multiple multiple attempts. Fair amount of chat about them on 914world.com
Do not walk RUN from obx products.

i had an obx short tube header on a dodge neon commuter car years ago. it was stainless steel, fit well and was 1/2 the price of the name brand stuff. on a neon it was great. on a porsche i tend to think that while i'm all about saving a buck, i'd stick with the reputable firms out there. if the holes are mis-aligned on a the flange for a neon and you bugger up the head it's 100.00 from the junkyard. i think it's slightly more for a boxster head ;-) merry Christmas

If you're looking for an inexpensive, good quality catback, search the forum for the "Charlie Chan Muffler" thread. The cost ranges between $200-250, and several members have purchase it . So far the feedback has been positive .
