my horn works in reverse!!
Recently, I bought the 2nd hand '01 Boxster S. After finalizing all the deal, I enjoyed the car very much. Then, I realized something very strange.
When the key is out of ignition switch, horn works. If I put it into ignition switch and car starts, horn doesn't work?!! Very dangerous!!
It should work in reverse, right? Horn should work in driving!! Does anyone know or have good guess on what happened? Thanks for your help in advance~! Happy boxstering!

Just use your middle finger and get one of those bumper stickers that says "Horn broken, watch for finger."
Sorry not to be any help either.

On a serious note, search ignition switch. It is known to cause a host of problems and is not difficult to replace.

I just replaced my ignition switch, I still have a crick in my neck. it is not difficult mechanically, it would just be a lot easier if you were a foot and a half tall.

i also replaced my ignition switch awhile back because the key was getting "sticky". not too difficult, but hard to get to. you have to lye upside down and have a small flat head to get to it. good luck.
