Looking to buy a Boxster S 2000-01

I currently own a 2014 Cayenne GTS and looking to purchase a cool summer car.
Looking to buy a Boxster S manual transmission for under $10,000.

Go for it. I have a 2012 Cayenne as my daily driver (I have a Macan GTS and a 993 C4as well) but recently bought me a 1997 986 as a ‘Summer Car’

Garage
No doubt you'll enjoy a 986 and there are some good ones that come up in your price range.

My question back at you is about the Cayenne; I've had an '04 that I've thoroughly enjoyed, but I'm ready for an update. I've been looking at '08 through '10 models as a replacement. What's you opinion on the '12 - '14 models? Worth it? I'm looking at it as a grandkids hauler and tow vehicle. GTS, S, or Base - is the 6 cyl worth considering?

The GTS has been great to me. I have the 4.7 liter and it’s been great.
The base and S are fine but to me it’s worth paying a little more for the GTS that gives you all the options of the turbo but without the turbo.
