Hi all:
Black plastic pieces found in sump. Looks like an internal timing chain rails is about to fail. Problem found while making a diagnostic check into P1341 code...could be a partially blocked solenoid oil channel. Vairocam expands but slowly thereby triggering he code.
Otherwise, this 168K miles car is in excellent condition and runs extremely well for its age and mileage. Litronics and high end double din aftermarket stereo system installed. IMS Solution, oil changes at 3K
Looking for $5K out the door. Don't have the skills or facility to carryout the engine rebuild myself. Listed on craigslist at the moment for $6250 as a mechanics special. Here's the URL:
