1997 Boxster Silver $6,000 (Lowered Price)
Lowered Price for a quick sale! Price is firm though because this is a great deal.
Model: 1997 Boxster 2.5L Manual Mileage: 122,000 Asking Price: $6,000 FIRM (New Price) Located in: Las Vegas, NV Clean title in hand Runs great. It's the silver color with a black convertible top and black interior. The previous owner replaced the top with a 2004 top but it still has the plastic window. The top functions flawlessly. Included is a 7-inch in-dash Kenwood Navigation/DVD/AM-FM/Sat Radio/Bluetooth Handsfree installed in the center dash. Aftermarket LED tail lights, and smoked side marker lights. Spare parts include a car cover, 101 projects book, service manual, durametric diagnostic cable, original tail lights, spare top motor and drive modules, oil filter wrench and other misc items. Rear tires were replaced within the last 2,000-3,000 miles. The body is in ok condition, a 7/10. No major damage, just light Knicks and a few minor dents, basically what a 17 year old car would have. https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2876/...05f60352_b.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3675/...67340c54_b.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7355/...0d84299a_b.jpg https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8311/...e0881696_b.jpg https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2864/...02fe1aa6_b.jpg http://www.rainydaymagazine.com/RDM2...ct/BothBig.jpg I also have a set of the Top Speed Cat Delete pipe I never installed: http://986forum.com/forums/attachmen...pipe-00-04.jpg |

I bought the car about 2 years ago with 110,000 miles on it, so I've only put about 12,000 on it in the 2 years I have had it. The guy I bought it gave me some service receipts, namely for items like the AOS replacement, and he also replaced the O2 sensors. Aside from that there isn't much info with it. I'm attaching some pictures of the interior that show expected wear and tear with the two biggest items being the e-brake cover that's loose, and the steering wheel. In the case of the steering wheel the springs that hold the horn activation assembly in these cars eventually wear out. This results in almost being able to set off the horn by blowing on it! The solution is to replace the frame, or update to a newer steering wheel. I simply folded up a piece of paper that added some resistance to the frame which worked. I was eventually going to replace it with a newer 3-spoke wheel but never did. The interior overhead light also needs to be replaced which is $22 from Pelican Parts. The stereo also has an iPod connection as well as a wireless remote. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7227/...736cb546d3.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7021/...e6135de916.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7012/...99d0fb03b8.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7088/...802174733b.jpg https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7212/...bf6d5cca23.jpg https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2872/...de004b9a51.jpg |

Sorry to keep asking questions, but I am interested in the car. For the horn you are referring to pretty much this topic?
http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/24058-horn-air-bag-retainng-frame-springs.html If so, I now understand a little bit more why you held off on the repair while wanting to upgrade to a 3 spoke wheel. I am going to send you a PM. |
wow it's beautiful, if i had anymore space in the garage I would buy it, maybe when the other 986 is gone I'll get it
I still have my old 986 with a "blown" engine (that's what I'm told by local 986forum recommended shop, I'm not spending thousands to investigate it further) that i'm parting out if anyone needs pieces let me know |
A couple of deals have fallen through, so the car is still available. Open to reasonable offers as well.

Mike, I'm shattered to hear that you have quit the roaster. What's the next ride?
Haven't seen you at the SW World 2014. This is even worst than just seeing your boxster for sale in fact ://// |
