There was a good sale going on, so I decided to replace my short drop links with long drops links. I kept having problem with binding on the shorter ones.

I had the same problem and it went away with the long drop links. Keep the updates coming!

Wiring Removal

Great Thread - I'm where you where at about page 2 of thread. As a non-wiring guru (good at cutting, not so good at understanding diagrams or soldering) any recommendations on how to attack what's under the dash? I figure that there must be 20-30 pounds of wires, but it will be far easier to do before the cage goes in...

Thoughts?

If I had to do it over again, I would leave the fuse box and relays in their original position, moving them to the passenger side was a pain.

Print out the wiring diagrams and make sure you know what wire you are cutting. I had multiple components off of my engine when I started the wiring and therefore could not start the car after cutting wires to make sure I didn't mess up.

20-30 lbs of wire seems optimistic - 10 to 15 possibly.

There's a good post either on this board or on rennlist which shows you how to get the alarm module down to 8 wires.

Take your time and don't be in a hurry.

Headed to the Barber with Chin this weekend. Looks like lots of rain, but warm (mid 60's) all weekend. A good chance to get my wet setup dialed in.

Pic for attention - Spy vs Spy.

Found an oil leak on top of the engine, cannot tell where it is coming from. Oil is pooled on both sides of the case, so my day ended early on Saturday. Ran the white car on Sunday.
