Looking for info on this car.

Anyone here familiar with the build of this car? Looking to know a few details.

Seen a few videos of it in action and it looks a blast for a 2.5 (now 2.7 I believe).

Looking to start a similar build with the windscreen still in place.

Any advantages of starting with a 2.5/2.7 over a 3.2 given I'm not being restricted by engine size rules?

Cheers.

It all depends on what you want the car for , but this car now has a 2.7 instead of the 2.5 he started with, it runs in FP and that class has a weight/displacement formula. I run the same class with a 3.2 liter motor andI have to run heavier 2500# as opposed to 2160# that he runs, but both cars are very similar on what they can do. We all finished 2nd 3rd and 5th at the 2014 nationals and 1st and 2nd at the solo trials the day after

My car makes about 250 whp and his is around 200 whp, on a track is a different story, my car is faster where it can stretch it's legs. I have to put about 240# of ballast on my car to make weight and his car is about 23# overweight.

Like I said to each it's own both platforms are very good it all depends on what your main goal is

Maybe next year I'll build a 4.0 and run XP who knows
