I am going, and my son is bringing his car for the first time, a 99 Miata 10th Anniversary edition. It's got the Hard Dog Hard Core M1 double diagonal and we just put a new top on it too (fun... luckily he had a friend from the local Miata club to help him, I didn't have to do any of it
) He got an extra set of old seats and did what they call a "foamectomy" where some foam is removed which lowers you down into the seat a little and gives more of a "sport seat" feel, a little more support, and a little more headroom.
We are both in the Green Novice Instructed group, his instructor also drives 99 Miata and my instructor drives a Z3.
So if anybody is there, look for us and say Hi, Ocean Blue 2000S and Blue 99 Miata with a double white stripe.
