So I ran in a small Autocross event last weekend. It was a very short course, followed by a long straight. It was incredible fun, although I didn't even come close to winning. I think I placed about 10 or so, out of 60 drivers. Not too bad. Especially if you consider some of these guys are driving highly modified, dedicated track cars, with racing tires, arriving on trailers. I'm told one car was "de-tuned" for this event down to only 600HP.
I just got a new GoPro, and did some very ameteurish editing to experiment with different camera angles. That was its own kind of fun.
