Track Day Clean-Up

I hate to sound like a dweeb, but my car looks awful after a track day.

Even after cleaning with lots of soap and water, I have tire marks all over the paint, and the Pagid RS-14 brake dust clings tenaciously to the wheels.

I have found that the easiest way to clean all this off is with mineral spirits. If I wipe just gently with a paper towel soaked in mineral spirits the offending marks disappear immediately, but I worry if this will cause long term damage to paint or wheels. I do hit it with spray on wax right after the mineral spirits treatment.

Anyone else try this, or have a better way to clean up after a track day?
