Wet sump issues during Track use ???

Anyone out there had any experience with clouds of smoke and also engine failure (bearings / oil starvation) during track use.
Also any info on dry sump conversions done to Boxster - besides the ACCUSUMP...
I am using semi-slicks (Boxster S) @ track days and ran bearings @ 50,000kms. As did 3 other cars of same use, age and mileage. Several others on road rubber have serious smoking problems which result in the management system cutting power ? This seems to be oil vapour venting/plumbing problem
Boxster Spec racing series does not appear to have such issues.
