That's not what I had in mind. That has a bit of a rice-a-roni look to it.

I was thinking of shaving the lower half of the aftermarket wing off and bonding it to the top of the factory spoiler so that I would have the look of the aftermarket wing, but the improved mounting of the factory unit.

Before I do anything dramatic, I'm going to look at the way the wing mounts and see if I can improve/modify the mount so that I don't run into some of the same problems that others have experienced.

I understand exactly what you mean. How hard do you think it would be to attach it?

I'd like to see how that would look, but I'm pretty set on the Gemballa one.

It would actually look just like the aftermarket wing....when closed. Open, it would look more like the Gemballa wing without the hole in the riser.

It would be pretty easy to do. There are panel adhesives out now that are crazy strong (GM attaches their door hinges on their trucks with the stuff). It can be filed, sanded and painted. I'm restoring an old Corvette and the panel adhesive I've used on it would probably work as well.
