NOt sure I would be afraid. Many of these cars were leased to begin with.. Multiple owners isn't itself a need to worry. I would be curious about the latest records available, recall history, major/minor services etc.
There is a curious gap (year wise) between owners 2 + 3...
CARFAX is only as good as the information they have been provided.
If the car looks good, passes a PPI and is a fair price, go for it. Then again, there might be "identical" cars with less history. Your call

The 3 very short term ownership terms are very concerning to me.
I would not buy this car.
Why take the chance when there are TONS of nice used Boxsters out there.
Usually multiple short term ownership like 2 weeks or 2 months means trouble.

BMX, do listen to BruceLee... he buys and sells Pcars for a living. If he wouldn't touch it to turn around and sell it, I know he wouldn't buy it to put in his own garage.

If it passed a PPI, and was in good shape... why not?
Fact is, there are tons of Boxsters out there. This one looks like it has recently been at a couple dealers... probably sitting on their lots for too long, so they offload it to another dealer. I saw several cars do that when I was searching in December.
Again - passes PPI, go for it.

well, i would get that car if it was the right color, right interior color, right mileage, right price, and it passes PPI.
but if any of thse are missing iw would take a pass on it since there are soooo many of them out there.

No, when a dealer passes a car to another dealer, it is not titled each time.
When a car is titled and sold multiple times in a very short interval, it is LIKELY that there is a real issue with the car.
Not a certainty but why take the chance. Moreover, you will have to explain this issue to the buyer when YOU turn around and sell the car.
Why bother, shortage of nice Boxsters? I think not!
