Talking dont want to hijack the "corner" thread

Okay, got my flame suit on before I get bombarded by "You don't know how to drive a stick question or Manual is better than tip comment"

How to use the tip's in the corners? Can you shift 2 gears down with a slight tap or pressure on the brake and pull an upshift as soon as you clear the corners? For short, can you enjoy a tiptronic on twisties or on AXross ?
Can someone tell me a proper way of using tiptronic in twisties

thanks in advance, guys

i knew this was coming...i was going to qoute, press the left button of the controller to zoom in and the same time your thumb is holding the x button to aim as your right pointer finger is tapping the top button of the controller...but that one would only work on Halo II..hehehehehe!

Although I have read about the brake application theory, I've never practiced it so i can't comment.

The good thing about the tip is you can't overrev it. The computer won't allow a shift if it will cause you to overrev the motor.

In the examples where I've driven a tip (AX and DE applications):

1) I left in full automatic mode because, specifically because I wanted to "simplify" things. Worked fine

2) Used the steering wheel controls for downshifting while braking for a corner. Then used the controls for upshifting as needed.

I think in #2 is how you could best enjoy the "manual" features of the tip.

To say you must downshift before and upshift after every corner is to broad a statement. Some corners, absolutely. Other corners? maybe not.
