so wtf is up with this?

the stripes were bubbling up like crazy, so i decided to take them off.
used the blowdryer to heat up the vinyl, and look what happend.
wtf is up with this?
from like a foot or so away u cant really tell, but how messed up is this?

any way to fix this other than reclearing the whole 1/4 panel?

Hey dj,

Sorry about what happened there. It's painful to even look at.

Also, I'm not sure how and with what you wash your car, but that could be directly related since the cold temperatures you are experiencing are pretty ridiculous.

Unfortunately, I, honestly, don't have a solution for your current issue...but, I'm just worried that your other stripe might end up doing the same thing. Isn't that mod a winter mod? I don't know if the vinyl stripe has a curing time or a temperature requirement....

Maybe one of the other folks out there who have had this mod done can provide some assistance.

well i was doing it in my garage, it was at about 70 degrees in there all day, so i dont think it was that at all...
and i used hairdryer to put it on and take it off, the other one was fine, only one seide peeled off.
u really dont notice it unless u look for it, but still

Wow, in your garage it's 70 degrees F???...are you using a portable heater? OR is your garage suited up like some of the other guys out there??

I can tell you mine is likened to an ice bucket...burrrrr...freakin' cold!
