Do a search in this forum for cv joint. You'll see a post where someone explained in awesome detail exactly how to do this. I posted a follow-up in that thread last summer pointing out a couple of things.
It's fairly easy to do as long as you are a diy type of person and have some mechanic skill. The biggest pain is probably putting the new boots on over the lips. You have to use two hands and a screwdriver and everything will be covered in axle grease (use rubber gloves).
Also, I highly suggest you do all 4 boots. The cv joints in the S model sit at a higher angle and put more pressure on the boot. All 4 of mine were torn when I did them.
I'd go into what is required, but I'd just be recreating the previous post. Oh, I mail ordered the repair kits for $25 a piece from Suncoast.
