Difference in installing lights

Can someone please tell me the difference between the Halogen, Xenon and Litronic lights and if each of them are plug and play or if anything else is needed to install them. TIA!

To install them, you only need the tool that your car comes with. It's some kinda inverted hex wrench thing. Some one else will post the technical name.

Xenon = Litronic (Litronic is Porsche for Xenon)
Halogen = Halogen

Xenons have an optional module to install that aims the lights up when your brights are on. But cars that come with Xenon from the factory already have this unit.

1st!
