Ok...I figured it out. Thanks for the replies, but get this...
When I turn the car on, I have to turn it a click back for the headlights to come on. Is this normal, or just my car? Either way, it works now. lol
So what was it that was keeping your high beams from coming on without holding the lever? Mine (2001 Boxster S) is doing the same thing now. Appreciate the feedback.
I was going to suggest that. The ignition switch wears and starts to stick in the start position and it wont go back to the retracted resting spot. WHen its all the way to the right, the lights and sometimes A/C wont work
