Tool Pants Registered User Join Date: May 2002 Location: San Jose Posts: 1,889	The spirit headlights were only for 1997. There was a change in the law and they went away for model year 1998. Porsche no longer sells this light. That is why your parts guy cannot find them. All 986 headlights have the "ruler." I know. I have a 1997 that got backed up into by a truck a few years ago. Switched to 996 clears. I still have the right side headlight with the bubble level. Last edited by Tool Pants; 01-08-2007 at 11:44 PM.
