ROW Springs

I’ve done the search here, globally and spoke with dealer parts people and suppliers. I still don’t have an answer.
What I’m attempting to accomplish is about a 10mm lowering of a 99 for a slight handling benefit while largely retaining a decent ride quality. It just seems like it sits a little tall.
I’m pointed towards ROW 030 springs but the effects on ride are unclear. So I’m looking for someone with experience using different springs, especially ROW 030. Open to Eibach or H&R or anything providing the desired results!
Also a shock recommendation with them would be helpful.
For background, I do have a set of Koni Sports and Vogtland springs intended for my 02 S but that a bit down the road as I have to install the rebuilt engine.
Again, not trying to drop radically but staying close to the current great ride quality, keeping in mind the reality that shorter is stiffer with springs.

I’ve fitted the Vogtland springs (-30mm) and Koni Special Active shocks, and it’s fantastic. Just the right height and ride quality. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

I have the ROW M30 springs on my car, coming from the ROW standard springs. The front dropped maybe some 10mm, no noticeable change in the rear height. I paired them with Bilstein shocks and the combination gives a much firmer ride. Quite what I was looking for, but might be too firm if the road conditions are poor.

If you go with ROW M030 springs and want to combine with Bilstein, be sure to get the B8 version. The B4 is set more for the standard springs and is too long, just like the B6.

Most other springs will drop you more toward the 30mm which might be too much (for me it would be). You could consider upgrading just the shocks. I had a bit of a rear end wobble on my BMW E91 (which was set up like a French car, really bad) and it is now finally fixed with the Bilstein B6 shocks. Good thing is that the ride itself is not much harsher.

Thanks, I think that points me in the right direction.
I'll assemble what I have and see what it's like. If too stiff, go back to stock.
I put the Koni adjustables on my 540 and it rode great yet damped big impacts well. Great ride.My big concern is the springs being too hard but I'll see!

Consider Bilstein B12 kit

H and R lowering spring and B6 shocks. I am happy with set up.

I recently installed a set of H&R springs (first time experience), along with a set of Bilstein B8 struts on one of my Volvo V70's and I was pretty surprised on the subtle ride, it lowered the wagon about 1" but since the springs have a progressive rate they do not feel too stiff at all :-)

Koni special active with stock springs rides very nice. If you go stiffer you’ll start feeling all the road imperfections.
My 01S still flies thru the canyons with a great ride.
