Infiniti SUV lighting systems don't cause the problems....it is their cruise systems which have an adaptive system that uses laser. Even when cruise isnt on, the laser is and will set off a V1, interestingly my V1 goes off alot for them, but my X50 never does, but then again the V1 also detects police laser much better. Also some of the newer neon brake lights (alot of suvs) sets it off too....its not that bad though. they are both great detectors, as is the Rx65, and STi both from bel

Just a heads up, you should never test RD's with more than one on in a car at a time, they interfere with each other and skew the results. Annoying but true

Radar works well if you are not the only one on the road. I have gotten a ticket before with a radar detector. If there is no one in front of you for the radar to bounce off of and warn you, then the only thing the radar will let you know is that you have been nailed and should prepare to pull over soon
