Silent Old Friend: 01 Base, 5-Speed, 94K
Long time Boxster lover with 2001 986 base. I parked the running vehicle in the garage about 10 months ago, running well. Now, after more time than planned, I am trying to start it again. When I turn the key I get nothing, no lights, no sounds, no starter. I assume the battery is dead, maybe permanently, so I attempted to jump it from a known good battery. Same result - nothing, no lights or starter. I have had a number of dead batteries over the years and miles (94K), but not this.
Suggestions?
