any long term fix for tiptronic cooler control valve?

So this part failed for me last april, and dumped all my coolant all over the road.
i got the upgraded porsche part 92857457304 ( which replaced 92857457303) and paid $900 to have it replaced and the coolant system vacuum filled.

this lasted 14 months and split in the same exact spot, where the 2 plastic sides meet
is there any other solution than this crappy design?
i don't really fancy replacing this every year

considering using a copper pipe and bypassing this valve
and just having the tiptronic gearbox be cooled all the time.
if this badly glued part is the best porsche can offer, then i will need to think outside the box

thoughts?

I think overcooling the transmission may reduce its lifetime and probably it will take longer for it to warm up. I sold my Tip last year, but I remember the shifting became significantly smoother after it warmed up properly, and this warm-up period may last longer if you just bypass it. On the other hand, many neglected Boxsters are running out there with leaky vacuum lines, and they survive, so it's not a critical part. I'd still replace the valve to a factory unit again and reinforce the two plastic sides with some epoxy, just to be sure. My tip never had an issue with this valve, I don't know how common this kind of failure is, but I would check if the hoses and the valve itself are routed properly, perhaps there's some excessive vibration that cracks it eventually. Just my two cents...
