Help. Boxster 986 Lobster Claws

Hi all, I’ve recently purchased my first Boxster S 2000MY, and I would really like to fit some lobster claws…. I’ve seen loads of pics with them on but every time I find a set, on the bay, I’m told they won’t fit?

The ones I’m looking at are 19” 8x ET57 front and 19” 11x ET67 rear? Does anyone know if these will fit and if not what size do I need?

It’s confusing the hell out of me!

Thanks in advance

Mickey

Edit: I searched around a bit and found a certificate for 19" rims for which tyre dimensions are also mentioned (it's in german but not difficult to understand). ET 56/67 is not possible.

The proper sizes you need are 8 / 45 & 9.5 / 46 for width and offset.

Porsche makes separate sizes for Box / Cayman, regular 911, and wide body 911. The sizes you've found are for a wide body 911. Some want the ultra-wide 11" wheel on the rear wheel for looks, but the only way you make it work is a massive spacer that won't be your friend on the track. Plus, you'll need to "adjust" / roll your inner fenders to accommodate that wide tire.

Your best bet is to find a set of lobster claws for a Boxster / Cayman in the sizes I listed.
