Drivers seat completely non functional !!!!

After my son did the accelerator repair and lubed up the potentiometer, he got back in the seat and went to adjust it and it wouldn't move.. absolutely nothing. we checked the fuses everything was fine..
we checked the 12v at the seat and all was good so we thought this isn't good. At first we thought it might be the module and it still might be but we don't think so.

We thought we would have to take the seat out... so we started with the basics, we disconnected everything and disconnected the battery for a couple of minutes. then we reconnected the power.. then we plugged in the longitudinal motor, then the switches and it worked. then we plugged in the other motors and they worked..

as soon as we plugged in the two connectors for the bolster pump and valves the entire seat shut down. each time the only way to get it working again we found was to disconnect the battery unplug the bolster connector and wait a couple minutes and reconnect the battery .

We then decided it might be the pump , so we popped the pin out of the positive side of the pump and plugged all the connectors back in without that pin and everything is working. ( except the bolster pump of course ).

so next step is to source a pump,,, i just thought i would pass this info along in case any of you might find it useful.

ill update as we move forward.
