Right Side Audio Channel Out/Dimmed

When I adjust the CDR 210 audio balance to the right side the sound goes away. I replaced the head unit with a known good one and I still have the same issue. Any idea as to what else may be causing the issue?

Thank you,

Eric

Do the right side speakers work when you have the balance in the middle? If not, the right side is disconnected. If yes, then left AND right are somehow both connected to the left output of the head unit.

Assuming that the second head unit is good, about the only thing that would prevent the speaker from working would be the speaker itself or the wiring. I would start with the wiring. Perhaps it is a loose plug or something simple like that.

Right side speakers do not work when the balance is set to middle. No wiring has been disturbed. Could it be the amplifier?

It would be strange that both right side speakers would fail at the same time.

That's one thing you've correct: it is strange. Reread post number 3, do the legwork on your end, and then come back with your opinion. Lets take the guesswork out of it.

You've got a loose wire/connection somewhere. The likelihood of both head units being bad... unlikely. Look into it. Confirm, then we'll revisit your guesses.

Hey, look. It's 401.
