There's another thread like this where about a million members explained their screen names. Grizzly is the name of one of my dogs who was sitting next to me begging for Chinese food while I was logging in for the first time.
Don't make any sudden moves! She probably won't hurt you.

id try to show u guys how to pronounce it but i have no idea how to do that, you just have to hear it

Moostang is the combination of my last name and my first new car...
last name is Moussa ... first new car was a mustang GT .... hence Moostang.
I have the vanity plate hanging in the garage.
People started calling me moostang and it stuck. Some still do.

got mine from the singer named "unkle kraker". I like how reach the top from scratch but in the process he almost lost his family but in the end he chose to be with them.
kinda like my story when i was climbing the corporate ladder but it almost cost me my family and a mild stroke 10 yrs ago when i was 29. turned down a 70k annual salary 8 yrs ago just to have a regular working hours and be close to my fast growing kids. the best decision i have ever made

I did not pick out my user name. It was forced on me by the local Boxster owners many, many years ago after a work on cars days.
I went down a row of about 10 Boxsters in a parking lot helping the owners to put in CD changers after a group changer buy, with all the tools to install a changer in my pants pockets.
This picture was taken by Dan Feinberg (MMD) of one of those cars that day. Car was owned by Jay.
Back then we had an active group of about 220 local owners, and lots of local events. Dan started calling me Tool Pants and the others followed, including the mechanics and staff at my local dealership.
Many years later I went on international Boxster message boards and continued to use the name Tool Pants. Pants in Europe has a different meaning.
I still meet with new local owners to help them with their Boxsters, like in my office parking lot a lunch time. They don't seem to remember my real name so sometimes I am called Tool Pants to my face by a new owner.

that's pretty cool! you even post a picture of your user name..hehehehe!
since you've mentioned local boxster owners, do they still exist? if they do, i want to know when and where do they meet. I don't mind going to some other Porsche runs but there's only like 2 or 3 Boxster out of 30.
the background looks so familiar

UK -> I'm from the UK
Chris -> That's my name
The only problem is people tend to assume I'm in the UK, hopefully they'll look at the location details.
Figured it was time I had a picture in my signature too..!

that's what the guys used to call me back when I was 5 years old in my go kart!
I was almost as big a terror in that thing as I was in my itty bitty motox bike.
Child safety was a different world entirely back in the 70's.
perfectlap is either the elusive mistake free lap where every apex is nailed and every exit speed maxed to the fullest. Some drive for decades without every accomplishing this. On some tracks like the N-Ring (the old one) Jackie Stewart said it was impossible.
its also the combination of your best sector times from different laps in qualifying.

I was nicknamed "Sammy" when I was in high school. It was in reference to Sammy from Cheers due to my love of baseball and other things.

PECivil
PE= Professional Engineer (this is what is says on my license to practice engineering anyway)
Civil= Branch of engineering I can legally practice
what is interesting is I am also a licensed Structural Engineer, and structural engineering is all I do.....I couldn't civil engineer my way out of a wet paper bag
but the practice of structural engineering in Cali is under the umbrella of Civil engineering
I am thusly PECivil on all the forums I am a member on.
I should probably change it to something more catchy.

I'm a proud engineering nerd from the Georgia Institute of Technology (i.e. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets).
Nothing too original.
