Going to be attempting all of these steps this weekend. Last year I took out the seats to perform the TSB with new wires and receptacles and saw that the TSB and new receptacles (by part no) had already been installed. I was able to get the airbag light to clear with a Foxwell NT530 with Porsche software, but alas the light came back on the next drive.

Unfortunately, I didn't know how to test the resistance across the pins or know about DeoxIt, so I didn't really do anything to the connectors themselves. Looking back, I should have at least attempted some QD electrical cleaner, but I probably would have been back here any way.

I've since figured out how to measure the resistance across the pins in the receptacle connector and have DeoxIt on hand so I'll be prepared to take all steps to address the issue. I also got a bottle of Stabilant 22A as recommended by a YT video so am planning on first cleaning and conditioning the connectors with DeoxIt and applying Stabilant 22A before reconnecting.

Do you have any updates on the durability of your fix? Has the light come back on since it's been about a year since you addressed the issue? Thanks!

UPDATE: The airbag light has NOT come back since. All seems fixed.
