986andmx5 Registered User Join Date: Apr 2021 Location: Southeast PA Posts: 55	When I upgraded my shifter I wanted to hang onto the original knob as well. I went to an upholstery shop and had a boot made of genuine leather for $60 IIRC. It came out really nice and is unique to my vehicle. It tells the story of where the car has been and I had good conversation with the shop owner too.
