Boxster 986 2004 model

We have recently purchased our Porsche Boxster 986 in July. Recently the soft top roof has become intermittent in opening. I wonder if anyone has had a similar issue. Could it be the large black relay to replace or will we need to replace the switch behind the roof release handle. Thoughts please
