Man alive! I wish I'd seen this before I ordered a new one from eBay seller 5150motorsport yesterday. It's a genuine Porsche part, but it set me back $204. Yours would've been a lot cheaper, even with shipping. In any case, the original had been through the mill, with pieces missing.

BTW, Mike of 5150motorsport is a good guy and quite knowledgeable.about Porsches. He was a big help when I decided the 986's front end looked bare without a license plate, and so I ordered a bracket and spacers from him. (And instead of a 15-minute job putting it on, it turned out to be an ungodly thrash due to the wrong mounting screws supplied with the kit, Porsche's fault, not Mike's. The right screws did the trick.)

If it's 986 504 119 00, I would be interested! The panel on my 03 failed completely years ago and I've never gotten around to doing anything about it...

Perhaps a local Boxter owner could stop by to ensure fit..? Please check and let me know

Thanks. Looks like that part fits 2005-2008 Boxsters, so not a good match for my 2003… oh, well. Thanks for taking a look!
