Looking for an alternator rear housing...

... or a non-functional alternator. The flange on the alternator of my 2000 S was rust-welded in place so it broke during removal. I want to rebuild the alternator if I can find a replacement housing.

The other possibility is to weld it, would welding the aluminum be realistic?
