Should I hold off on the work and order rebuild kits for the calipers? Or should I install what I have and hope it addresses the problem? I guess I'm asking, how likely is it to be a caliper seal over contaminated fluid/air in the system/collapsing rubber hoses?

Thanks,

Since you will be replacing the hoses, I would remove the calipers and the pistons for a deep cleaning and install new seals, since it seems that the pistons are sticking, check the condition of the pistons as you may have to replace some of them if they have excessive (pitting?) ..you will know after you clean them
