Hi,

The US Market Cars do not have the proper circuit wired in. There is however a simple hack to do this in US cars. It can be done in less than 10 min. There is a list of needed supplies and instructions as follows:

Supplies:
  • 2 inches 18-20 Gauge wire
2@ Insulated Female Spade Connectors (Radio Shack #64-3131)
2@ Fuse Taps (Radio Shack #270-1204)
1 ATC/ATO Fuse - 10 Amp (only if you don't have heated seats)

Instructions:
  • 1. Crimp the Insulated Female Spade Connectors to each end of the 2" wire
    2. Plug the Fuse Taps into the Spade Connectors.
    3. Remove the fusebox cover.
    4. Remove fuses A9 and A6 (heated seats only, otherwise this space will be blank)
    5. Put the fuses into the fuse taps
    6. Plug the fuses back into the fuse box (positions A6, A9).
Note: be sure that the fuses are inserted with the fuse taps on the bottom side of the fuse.
    7. Bend the fuse taps to the right so that they lay flat so that they don't get hooked when you remove the fusebox cover.

This Hack can be undone simply by removing the fuse taps. Hope this helps...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
