Have to push on door to unlock?

So, after I unlock my doors with the key (fob doesn't work)... I have to push the door closed for it to actually unlock.

To be more clear... I unlock door with key, remove key, push door closed, hear a "click" and then I can open the door.

Same with both driver's and passenger door and since it's happened with both doors, I'm hoping someone else has seen this issue and knows of a fix. It seems like something needs to be adjusted, but I'm not sure what or where to start.
