Electrical issues, Tail, markers, instrument panel are out

Took my 02 Boxster S out last night and noticed my tach, speedometer, fuel gauge, temp gauges weren't lighting. Warning lights were ok as well as interior and door lights. However, my tail lights were out as well as the front side markers. The right side rear fog light did not light but the left side did work ok. I later learned from another post that this is by design where only the left side fog light works.

I checked fuse A5 as well as various others and all were ok. I did a scan with my duramatic and Instrument Panel showed a "9102 CAN comfort Bus" fault. I cleared it and I'll drive the car in the daytime to se if it comes back. Google searches and on this forum haven't come up with anything definitive. I plan to take it to my indie in a few days but if anyone can think of something I may have missed or if they''ve had a similar issue, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can be something simple like the ignition switch or light switch

A CAN bus fault then can be simply a subsequent error.

Light switch sounds ike the culprit. I"ll change it and hope it fixes the issue. Thanks.

Got the new light switch yesterday and took less than an hour to replace. Got it for $85 on a cyber Monday special compared to $192 at the dealership. All lights working again. Thank again for your help!
