2000 Porsche 986 S with stock hard top.
Auto transmission .
175,284 miles
Motor replaced with a takeout at 173,000. Replacement has 74,000 miles and has a replaced IMS bearing.
No rust. Body is a 8.5 out of 10 for its age. Maybe a 9 ?
Convertible top works but needs to be replaced ( just age bad rear window ).
Has a new radio, but have old unit that works. The stock CD player is still installed.
Driver’s seat needs a new cover, again it’s just age.
Front tires are 85 % but getting older. Rears were replaced 5 years ago and are 95%. Time to replace because she is a hanger queen .
Still have the take-out motor. Think it has cracked head or bad head gasket. Just when with a replacement to get it running faster.
Installed a custom steering wheel with paddle shifter.
Also have a Z Art top kit that has not been installed. Unpainted. This will give it the Cayman look. It looks way better than the stock one. Will sell with the car or maybe put it back in its shipping box and sell it off ? If you don’t want it.
Reason for putting it up for sale is my health. Not getting younger.
Although I have not put many miles on it ,she has been a fun car.
