Help with what this is and where it goes


The project is/was to remove console and adjust shifter cables.

However I have a problem, what is the spring switch and where does it go?

My only guess is for the parking dash light switch, which I have somehow broken.

this is the alarm switch for the center consul lid.
it goes under the latch.
