Climate stuck “off”

I was detailing my car and after that the climate control is stuck on “off” and no buttons seem to change anything, only thing I can think of is that liquid from the detailing spray made its way inside the buttons, any tips? I did just re do my dash and console in carbon but the ac never came out and while I was doing that I fixed the foam missing form the flaps and it worked then

I would give a try of just unplugging it and plugging it back in to see if that does it.

The unit is surprisingly easy to disassemble/reassemble. You probably got liquids plastic between the button as and contact points. I would pull the unit out, disassemble, and clean all contact points. I've done this a few times installing new lcd screens (and then reinstalling them right side up lol) so id be happy to help if you have any questions while doing it.

When the owners manual says that the laws of physics can't be broken by this car, I took it as a challenge...

Mine went all crazy after a local car wash sprayed a bunch of cleaner/shiny stuff all over my center console a year ago. This after I told them not to spray anything on the interior...but after cleaning and drying overnight it was fine. Had to replace the LCD recently but I don't think it was related since the screen was 20 years old and probably due for replacement. Not too difficult or expensive.
