Well thats the rub. There aren't any boxes for post cat. Just the ones you see checked in the 3 tests.

O2 Sensor voltage ahead of cat
O2 Sensor voltage ahead of cat

HO2S heat Res.ahead of cat (dosen't specify bank??)

Oxygen sensing cylin 1-3
Oxygen sensing cylin 4-6

That's it! Maybe I'll give Durametric a shout see if they have any info.

Ok just do the engine running test on the two that are labeled:
O2 sensor voltage ahead of cat.
graph them then post it.

I just hooked up my Durametric and checked the Actual values list for the 5.2 DME.
You are correct it doesn't list post cat O2 sensors.
It is a very limited actual values list.

So you could try clicking on the 7.2 DME module and see what readings you get when you click on things like the O2 sensors behind the cats.
Or fuel trims. Just play around and see if it reads any of the values.

But run the test like I said in the post #22 I should be able to tell you if your Pre cat O2 sensors are working correctly or not.

Got side tracked....the CEL didn't pop up again till after almost 1000 miles, no pending either for that matter.....thought it magically went away but it didn't. I'll get those values so we can check the cats. THanks again V

OK...Strange happenings. I got another CEL after 1000 or so miles... same issue. I left the light and didn't clear it (cause I didn't have my ODB plug) 600 miles the CEL cleared itself. Whats up w/ that? Any thoughts? I never got to doing the above testing but will. V

08 Boxster Compression Test

I plan on doing a compression test on my newly acquired Box. Just want to go thru the procedure.
Engine to operating temp
Disconnect all Coil Packs
Remove all coil packs and plugs
Pull Fuel pump fuse
Disconnect Ignition Sys(dont know how)
Attach Tester ..Crank 5 times or so.,,,repeat on other cylinders
Repeat w/ squirt of oil in each chamber.

Just not sure how or why to disconnect ignition sys if all the coils are detached anyway.
Can I just disconnect the harness in the trunk from the DME to do this?

Thanks Vince
