2003 Soft top back not seating correctly

As the image shows the back of the top is pulling out when I try and close it and was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. https://imgur.com/gallery/pJWH7Gm

Most likely your cables popped off. Open the top half way and look on either side towards the back of the top/car, there is a cable connected to the top frame and it pops into a metal ball on the chassis, this is to keep tension and stretch the top.

This could be something that you or someone else could easily forget when opening the engine cover for service. Pop those cables back in and it should sit right.

Check your manual for more details, it explains the process of opening the top and cables will be mentioned there.
