Uh oh, I done messed up (drained my refrigerant?)
So tonight I was cleaning my front radiators and decided to undo what I thought were the front rad houses as part of a colorant drain. I opened the bottom bolt of the bottom metal house and got blasted in the face with what I am assuming is refrigerant. I tightened the bolt back up but it's still leaking. Any advice on how to stop the leak, and diy guides to replacing the refrigerant?

Nevermind, found the diy article. Leaking stopped (all refrigerantt gone lol). Oh well.
Any tips for re-seating that hose properly? Looks like it's just a metal nipple and oring. Does the o ring need sealant?

no sealant ever on an oring, especially AC lines. Suggest replacing the oring and then getting it sealed back up.
If you have a vacuum pump & gagues it's easy enough. takes less then 2 cans. can be filled back pretty easily.

The O-ring needs to be replaced with a new one that is first coated lightly with PAG oil.

And be sure it is made of the correct materials; not all O-rings are meant to be used in this application. AC o-rings are typically green in color and made from HRBN, a Nitrile 70 Durometer Material.
